Pontiac Repair: please help me, pontiac sunfire gt, pontiac sunfire

i have a 1995 pontiac sunfire gt quad 4. we put in rebuilt engine and car ran fine and then one day would not start. so i bought battery, spark plugs, boots,and ignition control module...still wouldnt start put in cam shaft sensor...took to dealer and they put some sensors in also.car was running ok and then the check engine light came on and the ets light said it was off did diagnostic check it said p0507 high rpm output...what could be wrong?

well it can  be a bunch of things. the p0507 code is for engine idle control. meaning the engine is ideling at a diffewrent speed than desired. it can be due to a bunch of things. either the idle control motor is bad ot the wiring to it or even the engine control computers control of that motor is bad. being that this has had the engine replaced it add a whole new dimension to the mix. being instialltion error along with a lot of othetr things hen I say intsillation error in mean possably a pinched or misrouted wire harness or a loose ground wire connection. the last thing that cna cause this is an engine mechanical issue where maybe the engine has a vacuum leak and the engine computer can't compensate for the vaccume leak and it's turning on the light. good luck :)
