Pontiac Repair: Pontiac Grand Am air bags, clock spring, pontiac grand am

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am that was in a minor accident and the air bags blew. I was thinking of purchasing a pair of used bags and the module too. Is there any other parts to replace such as censors ect? The body work has already been done at a local shop. (my expence) Bags are all that is left. Thanks.

Hi Jerry:

Tyhe other parts you will need are the front impact sensor out on the body of the car and also what ever seatbelt that was being used while in the accident. other that that that should be it. On some of the car you may also need the steering wheeel clock spring (sir coil) the only reason you may need that is the heat from the bag going off sometimes melts the connetor going into the drivers bag. other than that no other parts. good luck :)
