Pontiac Repair: transmission repairs, bonnevile, transmission repairs

I have a 92 bonnevile I want to know why when i step on the gas it wont catch second gear, but if u step on it gently catches sometimes vibrates someone told me my transmission mounts are worn

It's not a transmission mount issue there is internal damage and slipage going on in the transmission. There is no magic fix all that you can add to the fluid that will fix it. Once the clutches are worn out in a gear set it's only a matter of time untill that gear is gone altogether. There is no way around it it's a major repair. You can however check the fluid level and make sure it's full.
