Pontiac Repair: Replacing overhead console switchbank, rear quarter windows, interior lamps

Question
I have a 2001 Pontiac Montana (V6 engine size) with an overhead console array of switches (from left to right - interior lamps override, the power sliding door, the power sliding door override, the power rear quarter windows and the rear parking aid disable).  My kids were playing around with the switches one day and inadvertently pushed in (physically) the rear parking aid disable switch and then in my trying to fix the problem, the switch cover itself (along with a contact) popped out.  (One of those "I should have left well enough alone!", but didn't).  My questions are:  How do I go about removing the surrounding molding so that I can replace the one switch (or worst case, replace the whole switchbank, which is still available from the dealership)?  If anyone has a less expensive source for the switchbank, I would be greatly appreciate knowing that, too)

Answer
Hi
Looks pretty easy, here is the GM SI procedure......
Insert a small, flat-bladed tool between the interior lamp/multifunction switch/reading lamp housing and the overhead console.
Press inward and down in order to release the interior lamp/multifunction switch/reading lamp housing from the overhead console.
Remove the interior lamp/multifunction switch/reading lamp housing from the overhead console.
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the interior lamp/multifunction switch.
Use a flat-bladed tool in order to unsnap the retainers from the overhead console bracket.
Remove the overhead console from the headliner.
I Hope this helps
As far as switches, they'll still be avvalible through your local dealer, try Ebay or try a local slavage yard.
Good Luck
