Question
i just replaced the battery on my car and now the stereo wont turn on, all the buttons are glowing like they are getting power and i replaced all the fuses that are related to the stereo, do you think it could be some kind of security thing?  thanks in advance

Answer
Hi Veronica:

If the display is not working either you have a blown fuse or the radio went bad. If the display says LOC or Locked the radio has to be unlocked. depending on the model of the radio it may or not havbe to be unlocked with a dealer scan tool. I have seen these radios go this after the battery is diconeected and for some reason the power spike re attaching the battery makes them go bad.
