Pontiac Repair: AIT sensor, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Hello i have a 2008 pontiac G8 im looking for the AIT sensor i belive i found it but it has 5 wires witch two wire a for the sensor? and is the sensor located in the air intake tube?

Your lloking for the wired for the air intake temp sensor? I assume this has a V8 engine??? the sensor is part of the mass air flow sensor. yes it has 5 wires going into the sensor. the wires in terminals D & E are the ones your looking for. one is brown with a red tracer and one is brown with a white tracer. Hope that hleps. just a word of advice if your looking to improve the performance of the engine this is NOT the way to go. you will not notice any performance change and if anything you will notice it running worse when cold and you will also effect your fuel economy. Also a little side note if you have any driveability problems an you take this into the dealer when it's modified they can refuse to repair anything under warranty due to modifications to the emissions system.
