How do I remove the Fuel Filter on a 1999 Pontiac Montana. It is leaking and I need to replace it. I see one nut what about the  clips on ends? Do I need to remove the fuel line? or does it just slide in? What about fuel in tank will it leak out?

Hi Karim:

Yes just remove that nut and ther are 2 quick connect plastic clips one on each side of the line. squeeze the ears on the clips and wiggle the filter and it shoul come off the line. That is if the lines are not rotted out. The filters usually do not leak due to the fact they are plastic. Usually the lines rot out and cause the leak.
