Pontiac Repair: 1994 Pontiac Transport Blower, pontiac transport, test light

THE blower is not working on my 1994 Pontiac Transport. I put a tester on the wires going to the motor and got from about 11.5 - 12 volts depending on how high the fan was turned on. I installed a new motor but it still does not work.Please help I am completely baffled.

Hi Steve:

well you could have a few issues with this. You could have a bad ground going to the motor, A bad connection at the motor or high resistance in the wiring to the motor. check it on the HI setting and use a test light is a real bulb in it not an led and see what you have then. if you have high resistance in the wires it will not light the bulb. You could have a bad blower relay of this as well..
