Pontiac Repair: engine conversion kit, grand prix gtp, dual overhead cam

Is there an engine conversion kit to put a cadillac north star v8 engine in my 93 grand prix gtp with 3.4 dual overhead cam. I heard there was such a thing but not sure where to find it

Hi Randy:

I have no Idea I'd let your fingers do the walking through the internet do a google search. A few other things to take into consideration. You WILL NNED ANOTHER transmission to go along with that engine they do not match up what you have now to a northstar. The transmission bolt pattern to the engine is different and that one will not handle the V8 power. I'm not sure there is enough room under the hood for that engine/transmission package to fit. It's longer than the V6 you have now. Just a few ideas from left field but When I need to find something I do a "google" search.
