first the 1996 pontiac trans sport lopes and i must push the accelerator to the floor before the van will crank after it have warmed up it will crank when it sits over night

It could be any number of things. from a vacuum leak to a throttle plate that is carboned up. You will need a scan tool to see what is going on with the fuel trim "delivery" from the computer depending on what the fuel trim #'s are will head you in the direction you need to go. My gut feeling is a vacuum leak or maybe you did bend something if you had the push rods in the wrong order when you did the engine work.
