Pontiac Repair: 97 Grand Prix engine removal, google search, grand prix 3

Hey Todd, thanks for being available to help. I have a '97 Grand Prix 3.8 that has a loud knock when revved (and sometimes when not revved). I'm pretty sure it's a rod bearingn not a lifter failure. Can you tell me what the dia-assembly sequence is for pulling the engine? Thanks. Carter Freed

This is a big under taking. And There is not enough room in the message to cover each and every stem neede to remove an engine. You need an engine hoist and a floor jack for starters. I would suggest you try an "google" search and see if you can fin detailed step by step instruction on how to do this job safely.
