Pontiac Repair: 1999 sunfire fan staying on, radiator fan, fuse box

Hi, I have 1999 sunfire and the radiator fan will not shut off after the car has been turned off .

well it's one of 2 things. either the relay for the fan is stuck on or the engine computer is keeping the relay turned on. More than likly it's the relay stuck on. the relay for the fan is in the fuse box next to the battery. pull out the relay and swap it with one of the other ones in the box and see if it turns off then. make sure the one you swap it with it the same part # stamped on the top of the relay. good luck :}
