Pontiac Repair: leaky trunk, weather strip, mosy

1995 Bonneville...the inside of the trunk stays wet it is in the area closest too you when you open the truck...the rest of the trunk does not get wet...any suggestions?

it could be a few things. if the trunk has a spoiler on the lid that could be leaking into the trunk. open the trunk and see if the lining under the deck lit is wet if so look there first. the weatherstrip around the parameter of the trunk could be leaking. lastly it could be either a seal aroinf a tail lamp or a seal in the body leaking. the 2 mosy common ones are the weather strip or the spoiler if equipped.
