Question
my bonnie is slightly rough, intermittent lagging and pulsing exceleration.voltage meter intermittently erratic. the alt, batt, plugs, injectors are good. once in a while my door locks dont work. and,oh yeah, the car had an interior water leak

Answer
Hey Dave:

Well fisrt off a water leak into a car is never a good thing. You could have a bad connection anywhere where the water was especially a bad ground connection. That could be you insterment panel issue with the gauge. Or is the actual voltage at the battery erratic?  As for running rough. that engine doesn't have may driveabliity issues. I know you said injectors are good but how do you know? you could have a lean injector "dirty". does this car have a lot of miles on it? This is going back a while but I'm pretty sure that car had a disserent prom update for it to increase the speed at which the torque converter lock up would apply that way it woul not lug the engine. It depended on what final drive ratio and tire size was on the car as to what prom when in to the car. You could have a Mass ari flow sensor going bad or a vacuum leak causing this issue. A scan tool would hlep in trying to find you problem. Looking at the fule trim #'s when it's running would lead you into the right direction. Hope that help you some.
