how do i replace the heater core in my pontiac grand am
also i have a problem with my instrument panel none of the gauges work i.e. tach, spedometer, fuel gauge nothing, what could be causing this? i have my suspissions that its a bad wire ore a fuse but i checked all of the fuses and there good

Hey Matthew:

The heater core is a BIG job look back through my past answers a few months ago I gave a person detailed instructions on how to do it. As for the cluster If all the fuses are good I would suspect that it is either a bad cluster or that data line between the engine computer and insterment cluster assembly is bad. More likely the cluster but I wouldn't just want to replace it on a whim. Also the cluster on that car is part of the theft system from the factory so if you swap one out the car will not start unless the theft system is learned properly. Good luck :)
