Pontiac Repair: fiero, timing chain, fiero

ok so if it isn't the distributor do u think it could be the timing chain? thanks alot

It could be anything out of time but if the chain was off a lot the engine wouldn't have compression or it would hold the valve open and the pistons would hit them. It's pretty hard to mess up the timing on that it's pretty easy. If your still not getting anywhere with this you should break down and take it to someone who can diagnose it for you instead of just guessing and spending more money and time on this.
