Pontiac Repair: Block heater cord 91 grand prix, engine compartment, 1l

I can't find the block heater cord on my 91 Grand Prix SE. Have looked everywhere i can see but do not see it anywhere.  I don't know if the kind of motor it has makes a difference on where it is but the motor is a 3.1L. Any help would be great thanks!

Hi KIM:

A block heater is not a regular option on those cars it had to be ordered with a xcold climate package. If you can't find it it's more than likely not equipped with one. Usually when the did have it the cord was coiled up and tucked in by the battery on the left front corner of the engine compartment. by where the battery is.
