Pontiac Repair: Sliding Door Problem, pontiac montana, gm dealership

I drive a 1999 Pontiac Montana. Recently the passenger side power sliding door won't stay closed unless I use the over-ride button when the door closes. The door just keeps opening back up over and over when you try to close it. I followed the suggestion from the manual for resetting the actuator. It didn't make a difference. I just keep the over-ride button in the locked position and don't use the door which is inconvenient with three kids. HELP!

There is a VERY long diagnostics for power slide door problem.
I would HIGHLY recommend taking it to either your local GM dealership, or a good reputable shop and have it properly diagnosed so as not to waste $$$$ on unneeded parts swapping.
That is my BEST advice.
