QUESTION: I have a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire and the interior dome light just started to come on everytime I step on the brakes.   Also when I turn off the car it stays on for like 20 minutes before shutting off.  Any suggestions.

Does the dome lamp come on at full intensity? or is it dimmer than usual?

QUESTION: It comes on dim and goes to full intensity and vice versa.

It is possible there MAY be either a grounding problem on GG302 located  At the right front of the passenger compartment at the rocker panel.
If the ground circuit checks out OK, then I would suspect POSSIBALLY the BCM (Body Control Module), which controls the the interior lamps.
