how hard is it to replace the blower moter. do you have to remove the air bag on the passengers side thank you bob

No the air bag does not need to be removed.
Here is the exact procedure from GM SI.

Remove the right side sound insulator..
Pull back the carpet near the blower motor.
Remove the glove box.
Remove the Dash Integration Module (DIM) from bracket.
Remove the 2 rear DIM bracket screws.
Reposition the DIM bracket to allow for removal of the blower motor.
Disconnect the electrical connector  from the blower motor.
Remove the blower motor retaining screws.
Lower the blower motor and rotate counter clockwise to remove from the vehicle.
