Pontiac Repair: 94 grand am 3.1 ltr., rain gutter, drain hole

Question
REPLACED HEATER CORE AND NOW HAVE PUDDLES OF WATER ON THE PASSANGER FLOOR LIKE IT'S LEAKING AND I JUST BOUGHT IT FROM AUTOZONE. CAN YOU DIAGNOSE THIS PROBLEM FOR ME OR A IDEA TO THE NEXT STEP. THANK YOU

Answer
is it water or anti-freeze? If it's anti-freeze it's either a bad hose at the core laking into the heater box or a bad new core. If it's water then you more than likely do not have the heater box put back together poroperly they is a grooove all the way around the top half of that heater box and if the bottom section is not in the groove properly or ig you broke/cracked that bottom half of the box when you took it apart or back together then that is where the water is comming from. That bottom half of the box acts like a rain gutter for any water in the heater box from the weather or condensation from the a/c system.also make sure the drain hole is not plugged the one that goes through the fire wall. Good luck :)
