Pontiac Repair: Brake Light, pontiac grand am, grand am

Question
I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM with a 3.4 engine. My driver side brake light is not working. the blinker works, and the parking light works, so it is only the brake light. I have replaced the light bulb but it doesnt help, and I wont think it could be a fuse because then it would make the whole tail light stop working please help me I have to get it inspected this month and I so Screwed!! There is so many problems with it

Answer
Hey Courtney:

what you need is a circuit board for that side of the car the socket that the bulb goes into has burnt out and not making contact with the bulb it's a pretty common issue with this body line of car. The circuit baord is sold complete with the bulbs. It's not all that expensive I think it's under $50.00 last time I paid attention to the price. Good luck :)
