Pontiac Repair: 96 bonneville no heat, temp gauge, heater core

Question
The last two winters the heat has not responded.  It used to come on with acceleration of the gas pedal.  This year it's not responding at all.  The lights indicate that everything is fined but there is no action.  I have a newborn and I'm worried.

Answer
Hey Tony:
When you mean not responded you man the blower runs and there is air movement out the vents but no heat? Is this a base Bonneville or an sse? Does it have a temp gauge on the dash? If so is it reading normal temp when the engine is hot? you may be low on coolant and there is an air pocket in the cooling system and the air is traped in the heater core. You could have some sort of temp door problem insaide the car and that is why you have no heat. Just a couple of things to look at. good luck :)
