Pontiac Repair: 1997 Grand Am Headlight, ground circuits, multifunction switch

Question
The driver's side headlight on my daughters 1997 Grand Am is out.  I have tested the bulb and it tests ok.  What else could cause this problem?

MAKING sure the bulb is good from side to side... Check power and ground circuits.
If both there and bulbs are BOTH good (checked from side to side) It COULD be the Multifunction switch (Turn Hazar Headlamp switch).
