Pontiac Repair: 98 Transport - DIC and SWC, steering wheel, trasport

1998 Trasport Montana.  The driver information center and the steering wheel control backlight on the steering wheel do no work.  Have continuity on all fuses and breakers.  Everything else works fine on the Van with exception of the fog lights.  There switch on the consol lights but they dont come on either.  Dont know if these are related or not.  Any ideas i sure would appreciate....thank Randy

The steering wheel controls are lit internally by LED's.
If they are out, the switch(es) need replacement.
The DIC, check for power to the DIC. If it is getting power, it is most likely faulty.
There is not a long diagnosics for the DIC. It pretty much either works or not.
