Pontiac Repair: 2000 Pontaic Grand prix back passenger side power window and chirpping noise?, pontaic grand prix, pepboys

Question
I recently started having problems with my back window. It wouldn't go up or down. I took the door panel of and saw the i need a new window regulator cable assembly so i got one from the junk yard. I just wanted to know how to get the cables out from the bottom of the door. Another quick question. I have been hearing my front tires or something chirping. I put on two new rotors and had my brake fluid flushed. Brake pads are still good too any info? Thanks.

Answer
Hi
If you have removed the bolts from the door (regulator/motor bolts to door) AND unbolting the window glass, then the regulator should come out through the access in the inner door.
You may need to "fold" the regulator in half to pass it through the access, but they come out.
USUALLY a chirp or high pitched squeal is the front pads.
They MAY NOT be hitting the minimum thickness squealers.
I would tell you that MOST national chain repair facilities (Meineke, Midas, Pepboys, Firestone, etc...) USUALLY offer a free brake inspection.
Brakes are not an item to guess at. I would take it in and have it PROPERLY diagnosed.
I Hope this helps.
Good Luck]
