How do I change the fuel filter on a 2000 Pontiac sunfire. It has a weird plastic clip on it that i just can't seem to get off?

The plastic piece is actually the "tool" to disengage the clasps holding the filter on the line.
push the FILTER as far as you can into the LINE.
Now push the "tool" into the also into the line, it should release then pull the filter out.
Hard to explain, but it's not that bad. If you have ever removed a fuel filter using the circular tool, same principal just the tool is built into the line.
