Pontiac Repair: noise in front end, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings

Question
I have a '99 Pontiac Grand Am GT. Changed both front wheel bearings because ABS and Trac Off lights were coming on and I was told it was a wheel bearing. Lights went out but now I have a cracking noise in front end when I turn the wheels. Noise is not there all the time. Wasn't there at all until wheel bearings were changed. I have asked others to listen to the noise and no one has any idea what it could be. Do you have and suggestions as to what the problem could possibly be?

Answer
Hi
Just going from experience and just guessing, I would guess either outer tie rod ends, or upper strut mounts.
If it WAS NOT there before work was done, I would return and see if maybe they left something loose, or maybe a splash guard rubbing tires.
This is JUST advice from experience.
I hope it helps
Good Luck
