Pontiac Repair: Breakes squealing and ABS light on, inner fender, rebel machine

Question
QUESTION: Hi,If you have not looked at my other posts under this heading would you please do so.Any input you have would be appreciated. WOW! A SC/RAMBLER, I have not seen one of those red, white and blue street demons in a long while. A little info on it would be welcome too. At 53 I remember them, AMC's AMX and THE MACHINE.

ANSWER: Hi
If the brakes are grinding or sound metal to metal, I would double check all items and see if anything is touching. Does the sound ONLY exist during braking?
If not I have seen the plastic inner fender covers rub tires/axles and make a horrific noise.
If it is just a squeek/squeal and a little "roughness" I would go to auto parts store and for $4.00 get a bottle of the pink anti squeek /squeal compound and apply it to the PAER OF THE PADS.
Double check work..... check rotors, I dont see them making noise unless their grooved already.
As far as ABS, I would check the wire harness where it goes around the A/C Accumulator under the air filter box.
The W body GM's were BAD, BAD about the harness chaffing against the accumulator, VERY intermintantly shorting out the ABS wires and causing "ghost" codes and codes that were diffucult to duplicate.
If not I think that sensor is part of the hub correct? Not repairable except be changing hub? It Could be a faulty hub, but after 2 hubs, I would start looking for another fault or problem.
I Hope this helps.
please follow up post if needed.
Good Luck

SC/RAMBLERS!!!! They WERE the baddest. The Rebel MACHINE  was a bad bay also. I need a Machine. VERY hard to find them here... they mostly sold in Northern US not so much in deep south.
Thanks again

QUESTION: Thank you for your time and help. There is no grinding or metal to metal sound. Yes, it only does it during braking. Not at all on hard braking, only on light braking like in stop and go traffic where you are going say 35 mph or less. I have thin hard rubber that I put between the pads and the callipers. This was the first thing I did. I have a 90 T-Bird, they are notorious for squealing brakes, and this fixed the problem on it. The rotors look good but I might just replace them anyway.
I will check the harness for chaffing for sure. Yes, a wire comes out of the hub but I con not see the sensor. The ABS light did not come on with the original hub. When I replaced it the light did not come on with the replacement hub either. The bearing in the that hub went bad after 10 months. About a month after replacing that hub is when the light started coming on. I tried to reply earlier but you are always maxed out. Thanks again, Robert.

Answer
Hi
The hub after seeing this I would think IS a bad sensor inside the hub.
How long has it been? Does it still have a warranty?
Replacing the rotors may help, I see you said no one can turn them good in your area.
It may be a finish issue.
Please keep me posted and If I can help in ANY other way, do not hesitate.
