do you think it might just be a lose plug or gasket? Tranny?

Answer
Hi

It is hard to diagnose leaks with out having car here, but I can give you a few "tips".
First if it was purchased from a dealer, depending on your local laws,  here you DO have a 30 day warranty from hidden problems. Check your local laws. If from an individual, it's in your court.
You can wait till it strat to leak again while parked overnight or at work, etc.. and then take it to a shop YOUR familiar with and have them diagnose the leak.
If it is a diffucult leak to see where it is coming from, you may want to pay to have the engine cleaned, then get some Engine oil dye, and trans fluid dye, and pour it into the respective places and wait till it starts leaking again. Then, with the aid of a black light, the source of the leak can USUALLY be detected fairly easily.
You could also put a clean piece of cardboard under the car, marking it front and rear, and let it drip overnight, then take that to the shop with the car and that too, will aid in
1) fluid type (oil, trans, power steering, etc...)
2) exact location of drip(s).
Thats my advice to you.
Either way the MORE help you give the shop, the easier and quicker it'll be for diagnosis. That goes for ANY problem you may end up having.
I Hope this helps.
Good Luck
