Pontiac Repair: Front end noise, pontiac gran prix, tie rod ends

Question
I have a 2001 Pontiac Gran Prix V6 3.1L. The passenger front end make a creaking sound as I drive. When I get up to about 45 mph, the steering wheel starts to get strong vibration and the car gets a shaky feeling. The faster I go the worst it gets.

Answer
Hi
As far as the vibration goes, I would suspect a tire or a tire wheel misbalance.
You can go to this website http://www.gsp9700.com/
and find a location near you.
I would advice getting your tires/wheels balanced using this balancer. It will put "road force" on the wheell/tire assemblys, thus measuring LRO (Lateral Run Out).
As far as the creak is concerned, can you push down and up on the car and make it creak?
If so I would suspeck struts, or strut mounts.
The Outer Tie Rod ends are also a source of noise.
Best advice would be, as your getting the wheels/tires balanced, have them also check and see if anything obvious is loose, creating the noise.
I hope this helps.
JUST ADVICE from experience.
Good Luck
