Pontiac Repair: crank shaft possion sensor, crank shaft, wire colors

i have a 1991 grand prix with a 3.1 lt engine 6 sylender.i am trying to replace crankshaft possion sensor but can not find it on the motor where is it?

STANDING ON PASSANGER SIDE of car looking at FRONT of engine (where the belt is) it is located on the LEFT side (FIREWALL SIDE) of engine WAY down low, about half way back.
It'll have a 2 wire connector and the wire colors will be purple and yellow. I Think it is held in with a 10mm bolt, I THINK.
Check the connector and the harness for sensor, they are know fault makers on that particular engine due to the fact of the harness running under the oil pan and it being able to get hung up on road hazards etc.....
JUST advice from experience.
