Pontiac Repair: 1997 Grand Am GT, jumper wire, light meter

Question
The problem that I have is I lost all lights to the dash and the
heater/ac control box. What I have done so far is replaced dimmer switch
dimmer control mod. the white box under dash arm that goes to lights all
fuses. There is power to dimmer switch  when I put a light meter to the
yellow wire and green wire will fade in and out when tested. I just
haven't figured out what wire is hot to dash or heater control switch

Answer
if you have a new switch and im sure you tested all fuses, and you say you have power, then look at the grounds, you can remove the heater a/c panel where the light is, tets what side of the bulbs circut is power, and if you have power then check the ground  side, you may even if there is no dround try to check that wire and put a temp jumper wire to it , to ground , since the dash and a/c lights are all on the same circut, if that works simply add another ground wire to the ground circut  try that one
