Pontiac Repair: 93 bonneville water pump, replacing a water pump, auto parts store

Question
Can you point me in the direction of the steps in replacing a water pump?
It started yesterday morning, one of the pulleys were sticking, and would jerk from time to time.  It seemed to get better when the ac was shut off. We could see a little bit of wear on the belt, and some grime on the small pulley (i think it was the belt near the top that the belt went under - maybe the 3rd one from the top) The belt on our car started to unravel last night.

We have a new water pump, it doesn't have a pulley that looks like the one that is on our car.    Would there be a separate pulley that attaches to this water pump.

Thanks for any help that you may be able to offer us.  I am so glad we were able to get home, was very unappealing being stranded in the country between 2 very small country Kansas towns... neither had a auto parts store.
thanks!

Answer
ok well if you are going to try to save money and do this job instead of me trying to tell you. the best thing ios to go to your auto parts store and get a haynes repair book for your car and it will shoiw you step by step, the waterpumps on most cars have a pulley that is held on by three or four #10 metric or *8 metric blots ,, just look real close thansk
