Pontiac Repair: vibration, rengency, ball joints

Question
I have a 1992 oldsmobile rengency 98, that has a
vibration like the tires are out of balance.ball joints
are new,and steering componets seem good.Ihear a rattling
noise now in front when i go over bumps. Can strut bearing
plates cause these problems?

vibrations can sometiems be tricky , yes any worn shock or strut or a componet will or can cause vibrations, have you had the tires balanced? check the tires first for out of round, slipped belt , etc remember this going down a smooth road the only thing that should be moving alot is the tires and wheels,, bent rim? the shocks do absorb the bumps but the static balance is in the tires and wheels
