Pontiac Repair: Front turn signal bulb, socket 3, splash shield

Question
98 Sunfire, 2.2L I think.
Knocked into a parking lot pole - damage to front driver turn signal lens cover.  Never replaced.  3 months later, the flasher stops working.  I believe in the cheap fix first, so I purchased a two pack of bulbs.
Bulb looks to be a "push straight down" type - not screw in.

How on earth do I get in to the housing to change it?
Thanks,

Answer
Here is the EXACT GM procedure to replace your bulbs.
If I can help in any other way feel free to ask.
Remove the front inner wheel housing. Refer to Wheelhouse Splash Shield Replacement in Body Front End.
Remove the park/turn signal lamp retaining nuts.
Push the lamp assembly outward.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the socket by completing the following steps:
5.1.  Depress the locking tab.
5.2.  Rotate the socket (3) counter-clockwise.
Remove the bulb from the socket (3).
Just advise from experience.
Hope It Helps
Good Luck
