Pontiac Repair: 94 sunbird repeated blown fuse, 1994 pontiac sunbird, dirt dobbers

Question
I have a used 1994 pontiac sunbird.  After being stored for
about 6 months, it has the following problem; the fuse
controlling the heat/ac system and the ABS light keeps blowing.
I have now replaced it 3 times in about 2 weeks.  When fuse is
blown, no air (hot or cold) comes out of blowers, ABS light is
always on, and the emergency brake light flashes if the air
system is in the on position.  fuse blew almost immediately
today just after replacing it, when I turned on the a/c.
help?

Answer
there is a short in the system by the sound of things.there are some wires touching somewhere or possibly the blower motor on the heat/ac system is causing this.i would try disconnecting the items one at a time until the fuse stops blowing.this may narrow the problem down.try unplug blower then if fuse pops try to unplug abs control then if fuse still pops it is a short in the wiring and the is difficult to locate. if you unplug the blower motor and the fuse does not blow the blower is faulty.or maybe dirt dobbers or wasps have built a nest inside the blower moter ive seen this happen and cleaning the cage out and giving the motor a spin is the usual remedy.a wiring diagram or/schematics come in handy when diagnosing bad wiring.
