Pontiac Repair: Firebird Charging System, charging system, autozone

Question
I have a '95 Firebird. The problem im having is with the Charging system. First thing in the morning the car starts up just fine. If i drive the car and turn it off it hesitates and drags when you start it back up. If i let the car sit for about an hour it starts up just fine again. The more stopping i do throughout the day the worse it gets. I have changed the alternator and battery at least twice each over the last year. The problem doesnt go away. When having it tested at Autozone or advanced they say the battery is fine and the alternator is fine. All the wiring looks good and connected.

Answer
this sounds like youre starter.when your starter gets hot from the heat off your engine it can cause problems starting.symptoms are usually slow cranking or none at all.the best solution would be to buy a good quality starter with a good warranty.p.s sometimes a bad cable from the battery to the starter will cause low voltage to the starter allowing the starter to crank fine when cool but when it gets hot it draws more voltage and gets starved by the bad cable.
