Pontiac Repair: 91 pont grand prix 3.1 ignition sensor, camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor

diagnogstics say i need to change ignition sensor. where and how is my question. i have chgd an o2 sensor before... can you help me save 500 $ it runs rough, coughs spits dies backfires etc

Hi, I will try. The only sensor that i no of, that has any thing to do with the ignition, is the ignition module the  crankshaft sensor and the camshaft sensor. The module is mounted under the coil pack, the crankshaft sensor in mounted in the block on the back firewall side of the engine. the camshaft sensor is mounted in the front timing chain cover.
