Pontiac Repair: Frozen Car Radiator, car radiator, pontiac bonneville

Question
Wayne, I have a 1986 Pontiac Bonneville, I had a leak in my radiator or somewhere that I had to put water or anti-freeze in it . Well, I had more water than anti-freeze in it and now that it has gotten very, very cold out, my radiator has frozen. What can I do now? The car won't start, because there is ice in the radiator. Please HELP ME. Carol

Answer
Hi, by the radiator being frozen this mean that the engine is frozen to. If the temperaturn is above freezing in the daylight. put the car in the sun light if you can, lift the hood and see will this help. you can use a heat lamp by hanging it over the engine, do not let the lamp touch the engine.
