Pontiac Repair: a/c and heater fan speed, heater fan, fan motor

i own a Pontiac 2000 sunfire and the fan speed has 4 positions and only the last two speeds work the high and next to high. the first two do not.
i replaced the relay but this did not help

Hi is the fan making a little noise? the bearing in the fan motor could be going out. and cause it to take power to trun it. you can check this with a test light. check the wire going to the fan motor. trun the fan on low check and see if you have power there. if there is no power the it's the switch. if you do have power its the motor.
