Question
HI,
I HAVE A 2001 PONTAIC GRANDAM.I WOKE UP THIS MORNING TO GO TO WORK AND MY CAR WOULD NOT START.I CALLED MY NEIGHBOR TO JUMP START IT WITH CABLES THINKING IT WAS THE BATTERY BUT AFTER ALL THAT IT WOULD NOT START.PEOPLE KEEP SAYING IT MIGHT BE THE STARTER OR SOME PLUGS.WHAT SHOULD I DO PLEASE.I"VE ONLY HAD THIS CAR FOR 6 MONTH.THANKS FOR YOUR ADVICE

Answer
Hi I take it the engine well not trun over. if so, then it could be the starter. or the batter has shorted out and want let it jump start. Now if the engine well trun over. check the fuel pump. have assistant trun the ignition switch on while you listen for the pump to come on. there should be a whirring comeing from the tanke. if there is no sound then check the fuel pump relay or for a blowed fuse. If the pump is working, then check for fire at the plugs. If there is no fire, could be the ignition module. gone to the bad. Check all fuse make sure they are good.
