2000 Pontiac Gran Prix
A/C Fan Switch will not control fan.
Fan stays on high. Will not shut down even after Ignition is off

Answer
More than likely you have a fan relay that is stuck on. The relay is in the underhood electrical center. Remove the  relay and the fan should turn off. There are several of the same relays in the panel. Try swapping it with another one to make sure the fan doesn't turn back on with another relay.
