Pontiac Repair: 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix, pontiac grand prix, special tools

Question
As I am driving at 25 mph + and when coasting to a stop the transmission begins to jump as it down shifts.  When cornering such as in a parking lot, the transmission slips momentarily.  Also, the speedometer is not working.

Check the tranmission fluid level. If it is full, take it to the dealer and have it diagnosed. There is nothing more for me to tell you without knowing some of the scanner readings from the trans. Chances are that it will be something that you can not repair yourself at home due to the special tools needed to make the repairs.
