Pontiac Repair: heater core, china tiawan, heater core

hi;
  I have a question not relating to a mechanical problem but to manufacturing. I need to replace the heating core in my car and the local parts store carries a GDI core. Who or what company is that? Did you ever hear of them? Are they good? Couple years ago my Grand Prix radiator corroded so i bought a new replacement....,made in china,yeah it lasted me less than 200 miles,i dont need this headache again.

I have never heard of them but there are so many parts manufacturers out there these days. And yes, most of them are located overseas. You could go to the dealer and get a original equipment heater core. It will be the exact same one that was in the car from the factory. And it will last much longer than the china, tiawan, korean ,etc. parts.
