Pontiac Repair: 1995 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX V-6 3.4 L, crankshaft position sensor, air fuel mixture

Question
I LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME OUT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WITH THIS SAME CAR. ITS A 95 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX 3.4 L V-6.  LAST TIME IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP. I REPLACED IT AND THE CAR WAS WOKING FINE. THIS TIME MY DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE CAR SUDDENLY DIED ON HER. THE FUEL PUMP WORKS,LITES WORK,RADIO WORKS ETC... THE CAR DOES TURN OVER BUT IT DOESN'T CATCH. I CHECK THE FUSES AND SPARK PLUGS. WHAT SHOULD I CHECK NEXT? COULD YOU ALSO GIVE ME A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ELECTRICAL ORDER FROM THE BATTERY TO THE SPARK PLUGS. THANKS KARL

Answer
Are you sure that the fuel pump is working? Did you check the fuel pressure?
For the car to quit running you either lost fuel or spark. Did you check to see if you are getting spark to the plugs?
The battery only feeds 12v to the ignition module.
The crankshaft position sensor triggers the module to fire a coil. About 80kv travels through the plug wires to the sparkplug where it jumps the gap(sparks) and ignites the air/fuel mixture.
