Pontiac Repair: tranmission part, performance parts supplier, pontiac dealer

hi,
I have a 86 Trans Am ..with a T-5 standard. This is what I'm looking for and cant find it. The T-5 has a cable for speedometer and my 86 Trans Am has electic speedometer. Is there a Tranducer that will bolt to the T-5 and then hook up to my wireing harness for my speedometer on my 86? and where can i get one if possible?

I'm not really sure. I dont uaually mix and match parts. You can check at your local Pontiac dealer's parts department. They should be able to tell you if there is or was one availiable for your trans. They may also be able to match one up for you. The only other thing I can think of is to check at a performance parts supplier like Summit Racing. They usually have all kinds of off the wall parts and adapters.
I know that there were some transducer adapters on some of the early to mid 80's cars.
