Pontiac Repair: REPLACE LIGHT, set ups, light capsule

Question
Ihave a 1996 Grand-am. The front turn signal bulb is burned out. I have purchased two to replace both front bulbs. However, I open the hood and can not find enough room to remove the bulb. I do not want to loosen the wrong screw and have to have my lights realigned. Can you tell me how to replace this simple little bulb?

Thanks,
Randy

Answer
There are a couple of different light set ups depending on the model of Grand Am that you have, ex. SE GT LE
On some, there are clips on the back side of the headlights that pull up to unlatch the whole light capsule, On others, there will be a screw on the top inside edge of the light and a retaining clip, take out the screw and then pull out on the light to unclip.
I think theses are the only 2 set ups. You may want to check the owners manual also.
