Pontiac Repair: 95 grand am wont start,, cold start, fuel pump

Question
The car has a small V6. It stalled a couple times on my daughter going to work. After a 1/4 mile it stalled completely. It had been running fine til now. It cranks good but doesn't seem to be getting any fuel. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
If it's stalled a few times then my gut tells me you may either have a shot fuel pump or one that is very close to being shot. What will happen as it is on it's way out is it will work relatively fine on a cold start but after a few minutes of running it will heat up and consequently cut out. I would suggest looking into replacing that first. Then it wouldn't hurt to change out your fuel filter as well. If worse comes to worst then you may have to look into your sending unit for your fuel pump but lets hope this is all solved with my first suggestion. Good luck and feel free to ask me any further questions or to keep me posted!
