My Porsche 944 from 1983 has an oil leak(very small)  some where right forward ,from the engine. Can it be the oilpump or an seal?

Answer
Wash the motor down (ecologically if that is possible).
Park it over clean cardboard or paper.
Let the engine run for 15 minutes or until it is warm.
Check the paper and see where its dropping from.
If no droplets appear leave it over night and check again.
If no droplets appear overnight take it for a short drive
and repeat the inspection process.  
You can also add fluorescent dye to the oil and check with a black light.
